Hi, I'm Kim, owner-photographer of Keene Photography, based in Johnson City,
Tennessee and serving the greater Tri-Cities area. I've been working hard the last few years to establish myself as
the Tri-Cities most fun, casual and edgy new photographer. I believe photography should be an adventure. It should
be fun, creative and reflect the personality and style of my subjects. I feel most confident in my ability to make
anyone comfortable in front of the camera.
I do studio work, but I am a firm believer that natural light cannot be
duplicated in any studio setting. There are many beautiful locations in the Tri-Cities that I frequent, but I can
also travel to any location that is special to you. I prefer morning or evening appointments as midday light is too
harsh. I am open to all ideas and will try to achieve any goal you have in mind. Don't worry if you do not have any
creative ideas, I have inspiration to spare!
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Art from ETSU and a lifetime of experience in
photography. I am proficient with Adobe Photoshop CS3, and other photo software so that I can give you the latest
and most popular effects to enhance your memories. I love to mix it up: I use black and white, sepia and other
filters, selective coloring, lighting effects and text to customize your photographs and make them unique and
unforgettable. I use Nikon cameras exclusively.
I have extensive experience photographing weddings (my favorite!), couples and
engagements, senior portraits, children's casual photography, families, sports, parties/events, and casual
portraits. I am confident that I can capture your special memories, whatever they may be!
